Accuracy first

Our guides are written to be genuinely useful and correct. We keep claims general and evergreen rather than quoting figures that quickly go out of date, and where we do reference specifics we date them. Our content is UK-specific, and we point to authoritative public sources such as the National Careers Service and GOV.UK.

Reviewed and dated

Guides are reviewed by the Career Agenting System team and carry a review date so you know how current they are. We update them as the UK job market and best practice change.

Honest boundaries

What we offer is general career guidance and preparation — it is not legal, financial or benefits advice, and it isn't a guarantee of a job. For emotional wellbeing, our companion offers encouragement, but it isn't therapy or a crisis service; where relevant we signpost real support such as your GP or Samaritans (116 123). We're also clear where a competitor or another service is better than us.

Fair comparisons

On our comparison pages we describe other services factually, acknowledge their genuine strengths, date our reviews, and never disparage them. We verify what we say from each provider's own information.
